Trefn Diwedd y dydd

Mae staff uwchradd y feithrin wedi penderfynnu newid trefn diwedd dydd y feithrin yn dilyn asesiad risg diweddar.  Bydden yn ddiolchgar o’ch cyd-weithrediad I weithredu y drefn newydd a bydd unrhyw farn neu ymateb gennych yn cael ei werthfawrogi.  Gwnewch eich hunain yn ymwybodol or gwybodaeth canlynol os gwelwch yn dda.

Bydd drysau’r ystafelloedd wedi cau a bydd aelodau staff yn goruchwylio y plant yn ystod gweithgeraddau gan gadw I’r ratio oedolion I blant.

Mae’r staff yn frwdfrydig I sgwrsio a chi am weithgareddau’r dydd ond mae’n bwysig cysidro pa mor brysyr yw’r staff ar ddiwedd y dydd. Mae rhaid I’r staff aros o fewn y ratio’s er mwyn sicrhau awyrgylch ddiogel I’r plant. Os dymunwch sgwrs ynglyn a gofal eich plentyn, datblygiad neu unrhyw achosion eraill peidiwch ac oedi I wneud apwyntiad gyda unrhyw aelod o staff.

Bydd aelod staff uwchradd yn cael eu penodi I ateb y drws a rheoli’r amser.

Bydd rhieni yn cael eu annog I fynd I fewn I’r ystafelloedd I gasglu eu plentyn/plant yn enwedig os oes nifer o rieni allan yn y cyntedd.

O mis yma ymlaen bydden yn trealu trefn newydd efo’r bagiau a cotiau. Rhagor o wybodaeth I ddilyn.

NODYN YCHWANEGOL:

Cyn 5 or gloch mae’r babis (6mi-2ml) yn dal I fod lan llofft, er mwyn sicrhau hylendid a gan gysidro rheoli afiechydon rydym yn gofyn I rieni dynnu eu esgidiau cyn mynd I fewn I’r ystafell pinc lan llofft. Mae disgwyl I’r staff wisgo sliperi o hyn ymlaen hefyd.

End of day Procedure

Senior staffs have decided to amend the end of day procedure following the completion of a recent risk assessment.  We would be grateful for your cooperation in implementing the new procedure and any feedback would also be appreciated. Please familiarise yourself with the following information.

The doors to the rooms will be closed and members of staff will supervise them during activities within our child staff ratios.

Staffs are keen to talk to all parents about the day’s activities but please bear in mind how busy staff are at the end of the day.  Staffs have to remain within ratio in order to maintain a safe environment for the children.  If at any time you would like to discuss your childs care, development or any issues with regards to the nursery please don’t hesitate to make an appointment with a member of staff.

A senior member of staff will be allocated to answer the door and manage the time.

Parents will be invited into the rooms to collect their children particularly if there are a number of other families out in the foyer.

As of this month we shall be piloting a new procedure with the coats and bags.  Further information to be given.

ADDITIONAL NOTE:

BEFORE 5pm The babies (6mth-2yr) are still upstairs, in the interest of hygiene and infection control we ask parents to remove their shoes before entering the Pink room upstairs. The staff are now also expected to wear slippers during the day.

NADOLIG LLAWEN A BLWYDDYN NEWYDD DDA! / MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hoffwn atgoffa pawb fod y feithrin yn cau dydd Gwener yma (23fed o Ragfyr) am 6:00yh nes Dydd Mawrth y 3ydd o Ionawr 2012. Diolch i holl staff a Rhieni Si-lwli am eich cefnogaeth a cyd-weithrediad drost y flwyddyn diwethaf! Edrychwn ymlaen i flwyddyn llwyddianus arall yn 2012!

I would like to remind everyone that our nurseries will close this Friday (23rd of Dec) at 6:00pm until Tuesday the 3rd of January 2012. Thank you to all of Si-lwli's staff and parents for your support and co-operation over the past year! We look forward to another succesful year in 2012! 

Polisi cau mewn argyfwng / Emergency closure policy

Yn dilyn yr holiaduron a ddosbarthwyd gyda’r anfonebau diwethaf, rydym wedi adnewyddu ein Polisi Cau Mewn Argyfwng, bydd copi yn cael ei ddosbarthu i bawb wythnos yma. Mae’n bwysig eich bod yn ymwybodol o’r drefn os yw’r feithrin yn gorofd cau. Mae’r polisi wedi ei selio ar werthusiad o’r holiaduron ac I sicrhau fod y drefn yn deg I bawb heb unrhyw ddisgrimineiddio. Mae aelodau staff y feithrin yn ymwybodol o’r polisi ac wedi derbyn cynllun gweithred yw ddilyn mewn achos o argyfwng neu dywydd gwael.

Following the questionnaires that were dispatched with the last invoice, we have updated our Emergency Closure Policy, a copy will be dispatched to everybody this week. It is important that you are all aware of the procedure if the nursery has to close. The policy is based on an evaluation of the questionnaires and to ensure that the procedure is fair to all without discriminating. All Si-lwli staff are aware of the policy and have received an action plan to follow in the event of an emergency or severe weather.

Si-lwli yn ymweld a Ty'r Cyffredin / Si-lwli at the House of Commons

Mae'r NDNA wedi rhoi Meithrinfa Si-lwli ymlaen fel esiampl dda o feithrin sydd yn helpu i wella iechyd, hapusrwydd ac addysg i blant ar gyfer astudiaeth cais sy'n edrych ar y nifer o ffyrdd mae meithrinfeydd yn helpu i gefnogi cymunedau lleol ar blynyddoedd sylfaen. Fel diolch am gymeryd rhan, mae Anti Meinir wedi cael ei gwahodd i Ty'r Cyffredin i 'Your Nursery, Your Future, NDNA’s parliamentary reception' ar ddydd Mawrth y 13fed o Ragfyr.  Yno bydd aelodau seneddol yn cynnal sgwrs i drafod y dyfodol i ofal plant ac unrhyw sialensiau sydd yn debyg o'n gwynebu yn y dyfodol.

The NDNA have put Si-lwli nursery forward as being a good example of a nursery that helps Improve future health, wellbeing and educational attainment of young children to take part in a case study that will look at the variety of ways nurseries contribute to local communities and the foundation years. As a thank you for taking part, Aunty Meinir has been invited to the House of Commons to 'Your Nursery, Your Future, NDNA’s parliamentary reception' on Tuesday the 13th of December. Members of Parliment will be speaking on the role day nurseries can play in achieving these shared aims and a NDNA nursery provider will discuss the challenges they may face in the future

Dydd Llun Rhagfyr 5ed, 6:00pm: Noson Carolau Si-lwli. Gwin Nadolig, Mins Peis a canu carolau traddodiadol.

Dydd Sadwrn Rhagfyr 17fed, 11:30-3:30: Parti Nadolig Si-lwli. Bwyd Parti, Gwisg ffansi, gweithgareddau hwylus Nadoligaidd a gobeithio, ymweliad gan Sion Corn! (I’w gadarnhau! Mae e’n ddyn prysyr iawn!!)

Dydd Gwener, Rhagfyr 23fed: Bydd Si-lwli yn cau am 6:00yh ac yn ail agora r Ddydd Mawrth y 3ydd o Ionawr 2012.

Monday, Dec 5^th, 6:00pm: Si-lwli Carol evening . Mulled Wine, Mince Pies and a festive sing song.

Saturday Dec 17^th, 11:30-3:30pm: Si-lwli Christmas Party. Party food, Fancy dress, Fun Festive Activities and hopefully a visit from Santa! (To be Confirmed! He’s a very busy man!!)

Friday December 23^rd: Si-lwli will close at 6:00pm and will re-open on Tuesday the 3^rd of January 2012
